The Home page Power Search allows you to search within specific sections of the Web site. For example, if you are searching for "antitrust" and you only wish to see results within the People biography section, then you may check only the People section and perform your search. This will ensure your results are tailored to your specific request.
When searching within the People section, please note that search results are sorted alphabetically by Shareholders, Of Counsel, and Associates. Additionally, if your search term is found within the name of a Practice or Industry title, people who are associated with that Practice or Industry will be returned first within their respective Practice or Industry groups.
You may also use the AND and OR operators to perform your search. However, please note that the operators must be capitalized, for example, Project AND Finance. Additional search operators that can be used include the + and - sign. The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates that you wish to omit results that contain that term. For example +real -estate means that your results are required to have the word "real", but you do not want to see any results that contain the word "estate".
To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks. For example, "Project Finance".
Lastly, you may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander. A search for "child*" will find not only "child", but also "children", "childhood", etc.
