On Tuesday, November 12, Greenberg Traurig Shareholder, Adam Snukal presented during a NICE Webinar on "Preparing for The California Consumer Protection Act (CCPA)."
The webinar, which consisted of approximately 200 participants, highlighted the California Consumer Protection Act (CCPA), due to be enforced in January 2020. The CCPA is one of the most comprehensive consumer protection standings in the United States and will trigger changes in the way the U.S. contact centers process data, making privacy a costumer experience differentiator. This bill is intended to enhance privacy rights and consumer protection for residents in California.
During the webinar, Adam Snukal looked into the legal implications of the regulation and discussed the necessary steps to be taken to ensure preparation for the launch of CCPA.
