Firm Names 2015 Shareholder/Of Counsel Class
NEW YORK – Feb. 24, 2015 – International law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP announced the elevation of Daniel I.A. Smulian to shareholder and Yuta N. Delarck, Brian McCloskey, and Courtney E. McGuinn to of counsel. Firmwide, Greenberg Traurig elevated 32 attorneys to shareholder and 20 to of counsel to its 2015 class.
- Smulian is a member of Greenberg Traurig’s Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Health Care Litigation Group and Appellate Group. He focuses on defending medical device and pharmaceutical companies in all phases of products liability litigation. He also represents clients in complex commercial cases, including trade secrets disputes and consumer class actions. Smulian has significant experience in all phases of litigation, including briefing, depositions, expert discovery, trials, and appeals.
- Delarck advises domestic and foreign public companies, including real estate companies, in securities matters, corporate transactions, joint ventures, and general corporate and business law matters. She focuses her practice in public securities offerings and routinely advises public companies regarding public reporting requirements and corporate governance compliance.
- McCloskey focuses his practice on patent litigation and intellectual property transactions and counseling. He represents a broad range of high-tech, health industry and private equity clients in complex patent disputes, licensing, IP-driven investments and acquisitions, and IP aspects of other corporate transactions.
- McGuinn concentrates her practice on virtually all aspects of commercial real estate, including financing, acquisition, development, and leasing. She has experience with restructuring and modifying distressed loans and drafting multi-party loan agreements and modifications.
