Greenberg Traurig’s Jaret L. Davis Receives Entrepreneurial Catalyst Award from NFTE South Florida

MIAMI April  10, 2015Jaret L. Davis, Co-Managing Shareholder of the Miami office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., has been honored with the Entrepreneurial Catalyst Award by the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) South Florida.

The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship's mission is to provide programs that inspire young people from low-income communities to stay in school, recognize business opportunities and plan for successful futures.

Davis will be presented with this award at the annual Ignite Entrepreneurship Launch Benefit on May 2 at the Palm Court in the Miami Design District. Miami Herald reporter Nancy Dahlberg will also be honored at the event with the Entrepreneurial Spirit Award.

“I am honored to be recognized by an organization whose mission, I believe, plays an important role in helping to build a better community for the future,” Davis said. “I look forward to continuing to help strengthen South Florida’s reputation as a center for entrepreneurship.”

As Co-Managing Shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s Miami office, Davis oversees approximately 170 attorneys and 200 business staff based in the firm’s founding office. As a member of the firm’s Corporate & Securities Practice, he focuses on domestic and international transactions within the mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and credit markets arenas representing companies with an industry focus on the IT, health care and biotech sectors.
