DALLAS – April 5, 2016 – Karl G. Dial and Casey L. Moore have joined global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s 600-member Litigation Practice as shareholders in the Dallas office. Dial, who is also a CPA, focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, while Moore has extensive experience in commercial and financial services litigation matters. Samuel G. Davison will join the group as an associate. The trio joins from DLA Piper where Dial previously served as the Dallas office Managing Partner. The addition of Dial and Moore completes a transition of five attorneys from DLA Piper and includes Manuel Rajunov‡ and Dania Duncan‡, who joined Greenberg Traurig in early March.

Since July 2015, Greenberg Traurig has added approximately 75 shareholders and elevated 30 attorneys to shareholder status, adding strength in areas as diverse as private equity, M&A, white collar defense and investigations, cybersecurity, complex litigation, and real estate, among others. The firm said it is growing for all of the right reasons: addressing client needs.

Dial has over 30 years of extensive experience litigating throughout the United States and has tried more than 40 complex civil cases. He has handled numerous bet-the-company matters and class action lawsuits. Dial uses his CPA training to gain an advantage in courtroom matters and has been board certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization for over 25 years.
Moore focuses her securities litigation practice on representation of broker-dealers and brokers in securities claims as well as representing directors and officers in class actions and derivative shareholder proceedings. She has represented national and international clients engaged in diverse industries including securities, financial services, oil and gas, health care, and insurance. Moore also has extensive experience litigating in federal and state court and before arbitration panels, including FINRA and AAA, and has tried over 40 cases.
Davison is a trial lawyer who focuses his national and international practice on resolving complex business disputes through litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution.
Rajunov‡ focuses his practice on tax consulting and transactional advice to foreign investors doing business in Mexico, as well as advising Mexican investors on their investments overseas. Based on more than 20 years of experience, Rajunov’s practice has a distinct emphasis on real estate, corporate and securities, as well mergers and acquisitions matters. Additionally, Rajunov focuses on the real estate development, finance, private wealth, manufacturing and distribution, retail, technology, gaming, hospitality, and housing sectors and industries.
Duncan‡ focuses her practice on commercial, industrial, and residential real estate matters, including development and acquisitions, structured finance, and corporate matters. Duncan has significant experience representing international and U.S. companies in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including leases (retail, office, industrial, warehouse, and ground leases), purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, construction contracts, management agreements, condominiums, and related due diligence matters involving title reports, zoning, and survey analysis; representation of developers and equity investors in partnership and joint venture agreements; and representation of borrowers and lenders in construction financing secured by real estate.
