Heller, Chair of Greenberg Traurig’s Global Trademarks and Brand Management Group and Co-Chair of the firm’s Global Women’s Initiative, is the recipient of Euromoney Legal Media Group’s annual “Americas Women in Business Law Awards 2016 – Best in Trademark.” The ceremony was held June 9 at Essex House in New York City. Susan was awarded along with 3 additional Greenberg Trauirg attorneys, including Hilarie Bass, Lori G. Cohen, and Barbara T. Kaplan, all of whom were recognized in their respective areas of law.

She has served as the sole outside director on the Board of Directors of Intangible Holding Companies for a number of highly visible Fortune 500 companies, where she honed her ability to assess and apply legal objectives and business strategies to branding challenges. Susan began her career as an examining attorney at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, and has gone on to build a practice that has spanned more than 30 years, across virtually every industry and in most jurisdictions throughout the world.
