GT Elevates Two Attorneys in Las Vegas Office, as Firm Reports Record-Setting Revenue

LAS VEGAS – March 5, 2018 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP elevated Christopher R. Miltenberger to shareholder and Shauna L. Norton to of counsel in the firm’s Las Vegas office. Firmwide, Greenberg Traurig elevated 42 attorneys to shareholder from 21 of the firm’s offices and 14 practice areas, with female attorneys making up 50 percent of the firm’s 2018 new shareholder class.

In addition to the elevations, Greenberg Traurig reported firmwide revenue for FY2017 of $1,477,180,000, an increase of 7.28 percent over 2016. This is the fourth consecutive year of record-setting revenues for the firm. Additionally, the firm’s Profit per Equity Partner increased 5.42 percent to a record $1,634,000.

Miltenberger focuses his practice on business and commercial disputes. He has represented a broad range of clients ranging from individual employees and investors to Fortune 500 companies in both state and federal court. As part of his representation, he has managed teams and guided clients through all aspects of litigation, from developing pre-litigation strategies through appeals. Miltenberger’s representations have included advising leaders in the gaming, hospitality and the construction industries in the prosecution and defense of complex, commercial claims.

Norton focuses her practice on intellectual property law with an emphasis on establishing, protecting and defending copyright and trademark rights, both foreign and domestic, and on the internet. She advises clients in all aspects of brand development, protection, and enforcement. Norton has represented clients in trademark, copyright and domain name disputes, as well as in trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. She also has experience negotiating and preparing trademark licenses, assignments, settlements, and coexistence agreements.
