NEW YORK – Oct. 9, 2019 – Jolanta Nowakowska-Zimoch, head of the Real Estate Practice in the Warsaw office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP, was selected as the Gender Diversity Lawyer of the Year for Central & Eastern Europe at the inaugural Chambers Diversity & Inclusion Awards: Europe recently held in Amsterdam. The award is for a partner who is leading the way in their commitment to gender diversity. Natalie Carter, an associate in the firm’s London office, was recognized at the event as “Highly Commended” for the Future Leader - Minority Lawyers Award.

Warsaw Senior Associate Paulina Kimla-Kaczorowska was shortlisted by Chambers for the Future Leader - Gender Diversity Award for an associate or senior associate who is leading the way in their commitment to gender diversity and inclusion. The firm’s Warsaw office was also shortlisted for the Outstanding Firm for Furthering Diversity and Inclusion Award recognizing a firm’s efforts to ensure that diverse candidates are given equal opportunities in recruitment, retention, and promotion.

The awards ceremony and dinner took place in Amsterdam on Oct. 1. The host for the evening was the Chambers and Partners Head of Diversity & Inclusion, Dee Sekar.
