GT Sponsors Luxury Law Summit in London, 3 Attorneys to Present

LONDON – April 1, 2019 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP is sponsoring the Luxury Law London Summit April 2, 2019. The summit is a chance to “network and learn with business leaders and leading counsel for the luxury sector,” according to the event website.

Greenberg Traurig shareholders Danielle N. Garno, Steven J. Wadyka Jr., and counsel Carsten Kociok will present a workshop titled “AI Tech and Fashion,” which focuses on the emerging roles of AI, VR, and AR in fashion and retail, in addition to the intellectual property and privacy issues raised by these trends. They will be joined by David Köröndi, the legal manager at Eton Shirts, a global shirt making company.

Garno, a member of the firm’s Retail Practice, focuses her practice on issues faced by the fashion community, trademark and copyright infringement, social media marketing, and advertising. She works with clients of all sizes from start-ups to multi-national, global brands, helping them navigate through legal issues, as well counseling them on growing and sustaining a successful brand.

Wadyka is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property & Technology Practice. He focuses his practice on the protection, enforcement, and defense of intellectual property rights, including trademark and copyright infringement. Wadyka’s clients include major multinational brand owners from a variety of industries, such as consumer products, footwear and apparel, information technology, media, and telecommunications.

Kociok is a member of the firm’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications Practice who focuses his practice on the areas of Internet, information technology, electronic and mobile payments and new media, as well as regulatory and data protection law issues. He advises national and international companies from the Internet, payments and technology industries on the commercial and regulatory side of their business.

Köröndi manages change and digitalization projects in his legal department at Eton Shirts. He has also been involved in traditionally non-legal fields, such as business ethics and operational risk management, over the past year.
