Greenberg Traurig’s Timothy Long Co-Chairs PLI’s 2019 California Employment Law Conference

SAN FRANCISCO – Sept. 23, 2019 – Timothy Long of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP will co-chair and deliver the opening remarks at Practising Law Institute’s (PLI) “Cutting-Edge Employment Law Issues 2019: The California Difference” Conference, held Sept. 25 in San Francisco. Long regularly co-chairs this annual event.
 
The full-day conference focuses on issues confronted by employment law advisers, litigators, and human resources management and professionals, with an emphasis on California State law. Speakers include plaintiff and management attorneys, compliance officials, government enforcement agency staff, in-house counsel, and human resource executives. 

Long, a shareholder in the firm’s Sacramento and Los Angeles offices, has deep experience litigating complex labor and employment issues, having served as lead counsel in multiple class, collective, and representative actions and advising on dozens more. His clients have included a variety of financial institutions and entities, health care-related entities, airlines, retailers, high-tech companies, and transportation and logistics companies. Long also advises private investment funds and their partners in disputes concerning the management of funds, removal of non-performing members, and disputes involving portfolio companies.
