MIAMI – Nov. 6, 2020 – The 2021 edition of the U.S. News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” report recognizes all Florida offices of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A. The firm’s six Florida offices were recognized in 47 practice areas, earning metropolitan first-tier rankings in 42 specific areas. Firms ranked in the top tier signify a combination of quality law practice and breadth of legal expertise, according to the publication.

Greenberg Traurig received the most first-tier national rankings in the U.S. News – Best Lawyers 2021 “Best Law Firms” report for the 10th consecutive year and received the most national and metro rankings of any law firm included in the report. Nationwide, the firm was recognized as “Law Firm of the Year” in the areas of Franchise Law and Information Technology Law – only one firm is awarded this recognition for each select nationally ranked practice area.

According to U.S. News – Best Lawyers, firms included in the 2021 “Best Law Firms” are recognized for “professional excellence with persistently impressive ratings from clients and peers.” According to the publication, achieving a tiered ranking “signals a unique combination of quality law practice and breadth of legal expertise.”

U.S. News – Best Lawyers reported that the 2021 rankings include input from a record number of participating firms and clients. To be eligible for a ranking, a firm must have a lawyer listed in the Best Lawyers in America guide, which recognizes the top 5% of practicing attorneys in the United States.

Earlier in 2020, for the 14th consecutive year, Greenberg Traurig was honored to have more attorneys included in the 2021 edition of the Best Lawyers in America guide than any other law firm listed, with 118 of the firm’s Florida attorneys recognized.
