For 11th Year, Greenberg Traurig Has Most First-Tier Rankings in ‘Best Law Firms’ Report

NEW YORK – Nov. 4, 2021 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP received the most overall national first-tier rankings in the U.S. News – Best Lawyers 2022 “Best Law Firms” report. This marks the 11^th consecutive year that the firm has achieved this honor. Additionally, the firm was recognized as “Law Firm of the Year” in the area of Trademark Law and in the area of Litigation – Real Estate. Only one firm is awarded this recognition for each select nationally ranked practice area.

In addition, Greenberg Traurig has received the most overall metropolitan first-tier rankings, the most combined national and metropolitan first-tier rankings, and the most overall national and metropolitan rankings combined in the U.S. News – Best Lawyers 2022.

According to U.S. News – Best Lawyers, firms included in the 2022 “Best Law Firms” are recognized for “professional excellence with persistently impressive ratings from clients and peers.” According to the publication, achieving a tiered ranking “signals a unique combination of quality law practice and breadth of legal expertise.” U.S. News – Best Lawyers reported collecting data from more than 22,000 U.S. law firms across 75 practice areas, including almost 90,000 client references - the highest number of client references submitted to date.

Overall, the 2022 rankings incorporate more than 8.2 million evaluations of more than 115,000 individual leading lawyers. To be eligible for a ranking, a firm must have a lawyer listed in the Best Lawyers in America guide, which recognizes the top 5% of practicing attorneys in the United States.

Earlier in 2021, Greenberg Traurig was honored to have the most attorneys listed in the combined Best Lawyers and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch 2022 publications.
