Greenberg Traurig advised Tritax EuroBox on the sale of Castorama warehouse in Łódź

WARSAW, March 11, 2021 - Greenberg Traurig advised Tritax EuroBox on the transaction involving the sale of the warehouse leased to Castorama located in the Polish logistics hub of Stryków near Łódź to Savills Investment Management.

The property sold has a total area of over 101,500 sqm and the value of the transaction amounts to approx. EUR 65.5 million.

The Greenberg Traurig team was led by Counsel Barbara Pancer, supported by Senior Associate Karolina Olko and Associate Marcin Gralewski who coordinated the due diligence process.

Partner Jolanta Nowakowska-Zimoch supervised all work on the transaction.

In 2019, the Greenberg Traurig real estate team advised Tritax EuroBox on the acquisition of the property as well as the construction of the logistics centre which has been sold to Savills Investment Management.

We are delighted to have advised Tritax EuroBox on both the sale transaction finalized this week, as well as the previous forward funding transaction in Stryków. Considering the number of logistics transactions taking place in the first quarter, we expect that the industrial and logistics sector will remain one of the most active transactional areas in Poland in 2021, delivering strong returns to investors,” said Jolanta Nowakowska-Zimoch, Partner and Head of the Real Estate team in Poland.

Tritax EuroBox invests in and manages a well-diversified portfolio of large Continental European logistics real estate assets, which fulfil key roles in the logistics and distribution supply chain.
