Greenberg Traurig Participates in ABA 2021 Virtual Professional Success Summit

ATLANTA – April 6, 2021 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP Shareholder Natasha L. Wilson co-chaired the American Bar Association (ABA) 2021 Virtual Professional Success Summit. In addition, Debra Sydnor, the firm’s  Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, moderated the panel, “Lawyers of Color Reflect on Their Obligation to Impact Society,” which focused on the past year’s call-to-action for the advancement of social justice and the present role of lawyers. Panelists discussed how lawyers have a duty to serve as “social justice engineers” and how they can use their platforms to be more impactful.

The Summit is a biennial conference dedicated to equipping lawyers of color with the skills and tools necessary to distinguish and market themselves and achieve the highest levels of success. The two-day event offers opportunities to network with leaders in the field and attend CLE and business development-focused sessions.

Wilson focuses her practice on labor and employment law and devotes her legal practice to representing management in all aspects of employment law, from prevention and compliance issues to arbitration and litigation. She is chair of the Atlanta Labor & Employment Practice and co-chair of the Labor & Employment Practice's Corporate Restructuring & Employment Due Diligence group. She works closely with her clients to provide counseling and consultation on employee matters, policy revisions, litigation prevention and the implementation of sound employment practices.

Sydnor works closely with the firm’s Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer and members of a cross-functional team dedicated to implementing the firm’s robust diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies and initiatives, including client and community collaborations.
