Shari Heyen to Speak at 13th Annual Restructuring and Distressed Investing Intelligence Forum

HOUSTON – June 22, 2021 – Shari L. Heyen, co-chair of Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s global Restructuring & Bankruptcy Practice, will speak at the 13th Annual Restructuring and Distressed Investing Intelligence Forum on June 23, at 9:30 a.m. EST.

The 2021 annual forum, which is hosted by the Global M&A network and includes the Turnaround Atlas Awards Celebration, will be held virtually. Heyen’s session titled, “Restructuring Re-View: Living With and Beyond Covid-19,” will cover lessons learned this past year, as well as the effects of Covid-19 on restructuring organization in or out of court. Additional host participants include Evan M. Tomaskov, managing partner at Carl Marks Advisors; Sheon Karol, partner at Paladin Management Group; and Craig D. Warznak, vice president at SSG Capital Advisors.

Heyen focuses on complex restructuring, bankruptcy, insolvency, and complex commercial litigation matters. She has represented numerous creditors' committees, debtors, bank groups, acquirers, and other significant constituencies in national Chapter 11 cases and workout proceedings, including complex oil, gas, and energy cases. Heyen also has broad experience in the prosecution and defense of fiduciary litigation, real estate, oil and gas, health care, receiverships, and alternative energy matters.
