Greenberg Traurig Assists dMY Technology Group, Inc., in Business Combination Agreement with Rush Street Interactive, LP

CHICAGO – Jan. 6, 2021 –Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP served as gaming regulatory counsel to dMY Technology Group, Inc. (dMY), a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), as they entered into a business combination agreement with Rush Street Interactive, LP, an igaming and sports betting company. The new business combination will trade as RSI on the New York Stock Exchange.

The transaction impacted several gaming jurisdictions and continued the industry’s utilization of the SPAC as an efficient vehicle to encourage investment in gaming related markets.
