Greenberg Traurig Expands Asia Real Estate Practice and Boosts Japan Real Estate Offering; Adds Strategic Hire Mori Inada in Tokyo

NEW YORK Jan. 14, 2021 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has continued the expansion of its Asia real estate practice with the addition of Mori Inada as a shareholder in its Tokyo office. Inada joins the firm from Morrison & Foerster, where he was a partner.

Over the last two years, the firm has been actively building its Japan real estate offering. This growth initiative, including the recruitment of Mori Inada, is designed to firmly extend Greenberg Traurig's global real estate platform into Japan.

Inada has over 15 years of experience representing international and domestic private equity funds, investment banks, real estate developers, and investors in market leading cross border and domestic real estate transactions. A graduate of the Legal Training and Research Institute of Japan, his expertise bridges real estate non-recourse finance, real estate construction and development, acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, and fund formation.

A well-recognized and highly regarded practitioner in the Japan real estate community, Inada is ranked in the 2021 edition of Chambers Asia-Pacific for the Japan Real Estate category and is ranked in the 2021 edition of The Legal 500 Asia Pacific as a Next Generation Partner for Japan: Real Estate. Inada is also ranked in The Best Lawyers in Japan for Real Estate Law. Inada obtained his LL.B. and LL.M. from Waseda University.
