Rob Collier-Wright is an associate in Greenberg Traurig's London employment group. He advises clients a wide range of industries (including financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing, real estate, automotive, gaming, retail and travel) in relation to all aspects of employment law, including contentious, transactional and day-to-day advisory work.
Rob has conducted complex Employment Tribunal proceedings involving discrimination and whistleblowing claims for multinational clients. He is also experienced in advising clients in relation to high-value corporate M&A deals including advising on issues involving the UK TUPE regulations. Rob is also an experienced High Court litigator and has acted for clients in a range of employment and non-employment related proceedings.

- Advised AstraZeneca on UK employment issues, and co-ordinated a network of global advisers, in connection with its $1.5 billion disposal of its small molecule antibiotics unit to Pfizer.
- Acted for Smiths Medical Plc in relation to its $168 million disposal of the Wallace brand.
- Advised on worldwide employment law aspects of the $4.9 billion acquisition by Amaya Gaming Group Inc. of Rational Group Ltd., the world’s largest poker business and operator of PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker brands.
- Acted for Rentokil Initial Plc on the £250 million sale of its Initial Facilities business to Interserve Plc, including advising in respect of a workforce of around 3,000 employees based in England, Ireland and Spain.
- Advised Volvo Construction Equipment on employment law aspects of the acquisition of the off-road hauler business from Terex Corporation.
- Acted for a FTSE 250 telecommunications company in 10-day disability discrimination proceedings in the London Central Employment Tribunal.
- Acted for a publicly listed bank in 5-day disability/sex discrimination and whistleblowing proceedings in the Bristol Employment Tribunal.
- Acted for a minerals company in respect of High Court fraud proceedings valued at over £4 million against its former CEO, including obtaining extensive injunctive relief in both London and New York.
- Acted for a construction company in High Court proceedings against a former director for breach of director duties.
