Charles Gass represents private companies, private equity funds and health care providers in mergers and acquisitions, specifically in buy-side, sell-side, recapitalization and general commercial matters. Working with clients ranging from ambulatory surgery centers, long-term care facilities and health care technology companies, his experience involves numerous transactions that require complex analysis and innovative solutions.
In addition to his transactional work, Charles advises clients in the health care industry as they navigate the regulatory risks and concerns associated with M&A transactions, including Federal and state anti-kickback and self-referral laws, corporate practice issues, licensing, HIPAA compliance and internal governance. While maintaining focus on the health care and life sciences sector, Charles has also advised on transactions in the technology, consumer products, and light manufacturing sectors.
