DeWitt Perkins focuses his practice on secured lending and middle market financial transactions, representing financial institutions, private equity funds, and other secured lenders in all aspects of asset-based lending, debtor-in-possession financing, exit financing, and secured commercial loans including syndicated and single lender credit facilities. He frequently represents lenders in both in-court and out-of-court debt restructuring, including workouts, forbearances, asset sales, and judicial and non-judicial foreclosure. DeWitt is also experienced in many other aspects of Chapter 11 restructurings, representing creditors, private equity funds, and statutory committees in asset acquisitions, contested matters, adversary proceedings, Section 363 sales, and avoidance action proceedings.
