Ryan M. Schneer

Ryan M. Schneer focuses his practice on global patent prosecution and portfolio management. He has experience in the prosecution of utility and design patent applications for solo inventors, startups and corporations. Ryan’s practice also includes performing patent searches, conducting freedom to operate analyses, and conducting due-diligence investigations for corporate transactions.

Ryan has broad technical experience and has worked with a variety of technologies including but not limited to: consumer products, pharmaceuticals, biomaterials, electrochemistry, acoustics, optical devices, polymer chemistry, membrane technology, filtration, automotive technology, flue gas removal, chromatography, cementing, agrochemistry, textiles, medical devices, catalysis, virtual reality devices, and software.

Ryan takes pride in his ability to help clients leverage their intellectual property to pursue their business objectives. He accomplishes this through his commitment to excellent client service, combined with his knowledge of the inner workings of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), where he was a Patent Examiner in the field of hydraulic fracturing technology.
