  • Participated in the work for mBank S.A. in connection with its defense at the appeal stage of its high-profile dispute concerning the validity of foreign currency denominated mortgage loan agreements under Polish law.
  • Participated in the work for mBank S.A. in connection with its defense against landmark class action litigation held before Polish courts, initiated by approx. 1,300 claimants in connection with foreign currency denominated mortgage loans.
  • Represented a real estate investment fund in a pre-court dispute over a 40-fold increase in the perpetual usufruct fees related to one of the largest shopping malls in Poland. The dispute was settled before the matter reached court.
  • Participates in the work for PZU S.A. in (i) court proceedings initiated by shareholders to challenge the resolutions of the General Meeting on retaining the 2006 dividends; and (ii) court proceedings initiated by shareholders for the payment of compensation for so-called overdue dividends for 2006. The total value in dispute exceeds PLN 200 million.
  • Participates in the work for Bank Pekao S.A. in court proceedings related to claims against the State Treasury – the General Director for National Roads and Motorways concerning the construction of the A-4 motorway by the consortium of SIAC Construction Ltd., Aprivia S.A., Hydrobudowa Polska S.A. and PBG S.A. The value of claims exceeds PLN 400 million.
  • Participates in the work for one of the world's largest manufacturers of locks and doors in court proceedings against former employees of the subsidiary in Poland for acts of unfair competition and actions to the detriment of the company.
  • Participated in the work for a Polish bank in a dispute with an agent.
     

     
  • Participates in the work for a global spirits and wine producer in litigation with the former management. 
  • Represents clients in labor law disputes. 
  • Represented a tobacco manufacturer in proceedings related to claims for personal injury caused by alleged tobacco-related diseases.
  • Participated in the work for a major European savory snack manufacturer in a dispute with the Polish food quality inspection body concerning the compliance of baked product packaging with Polish and European regulations. The dispute was successfully concluded without the need to resort to administrative courts.
  • Participated in the work for one of the largest real estate investment funds of Central and Eastern Europe in connection with a transactional dispute brought before the International Court of Arbitration at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
  • Participated in the work for an international real estate developer in connection with potential investment arbitration against one of the European Union states in connection with interference by municipal and central government authorities in a high-value construction process.
  • Participated in the work for a leading American computer game producer on current issues related to intellectual property rights in Poland.
  • Participated in the work for a leading foreign film distributor on issues related to Polish copyright law.
  • Participated in the work for Agora S.A. in connection with the acquisition of a 40% stake in Eurozet sp. z o.o.
  • Participated in the work for National Museum in Warsaw on a number of contentious issues concerning certain high value collections of artifacts.
