Brad Marsh (San Francisco, State and Local Tax) will be speaking at Golden Gate University alongside fellow IPT (Institute for Professionals in Taxation) members on, "San Francisco Taxes: Gross Receipts, Payroll, and Beyond." The goal of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation is to provide periodic opportunities for state & local tax education and networking in the San Francisco Bay Area. Designed at an introductory/beginner level, this program will help gain a greater understanding of San Francisco's current tax structure and how it applies to businesses based inside and outside the city, navigate upcoming changes to San Francisco taxes that are proposed for the ballot or as part of potential City tax reform, and understand how the various fees may apply to businesses in different industries or based on business size.
