20th Annual Berkeley-Stanford Advanced Patent Law Institute: Silicon Valley

Greenberg Traurig is proud to sponsor the Berkeley-Stanford Advanced Patent Law Institute (APLI) in Silicon Valley this year. Co-organized by Berkeley Center for Law & Technology and Stanford Law School, the conference entails presentations from judges, academics, litigators, patent prosecutors, and senior IP counsel from major corporations offering a results-oriented, in-depth look at the latest developments in patent law and practice. Nick Brown, an intellectual property shareholder from the San Francisco office, will participate in the panel, "IPR Strategy: Claim Construction and Estoppel Considerations" during this two-day conference. This program will identify some tips and traps on a unified Phillips-type claim construction standard, evolving estoppel standards, discretionary denial, and case/court-specific timelines that may help shape strategy for patent litigants.
