25th Annual Greater Philadelphia Martin Luther King Day of Service

Greenberg Traurig is sponsoring the 2020 Greater Philadelphia Martin Luther King Day of Service and members of the Philadelphia office -- lawyers and business staff -- will join the tens of thousands of people from across the region in this collective community effort to help transform lives and neighborhoods.

The national King Day of Service started in Philadelphia as a small project in 1996 with 1,000 volunteers. It has since grown to an effort drawing more than 100,000 volunteers of all ages locally and millions of others nationally, a movement that has worked to break down barriers, form ongoing partnerships, and foster understanding about the legacy of Dr. King, particularly among young people.  The Greater Philadelphia King Day of Service is organized through Global Citizen 365, a non-partisan organization dedicated to promoting civic engagement, community volunteering, civic responsibility, and sustained active citizenship among diverse groups, particularly young people.
