Jeff E. Scott and Edward J. Weiss met in 1987. Weiss was a summer associate at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP and Scott was assigned to be his mentor.
Their roles are very different today. Scott is a shareholder at Greenberg Traurig LLP and Weiss is his client.
