Greenberg Traurig Expands New York Government Law & Policy Practice with Addition of Christopher J. Del Giudice in Albany

ALBANY, NY – Jan. 5, 2016 – Christopher J. Del Giudice has joined Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s growing Albany office as a director in the Government Law & Policy Practice. Del Giudice’s addition comes on the heels of Sam NeJame, who joined the New York Government Law & Policy Practice in December.

Del Giudice will focus on legislative, regulatory, and procurement matters. He represents clients from various industries including health care, insurance, racing and gaming, energy, transportation, not-for-profits, cultural, and educational institutions. Del Giudice’s experience further complements the Albany office’s already robust energy, health care, and procurement practices.

“Chris has more than 20 years of experience in legislative affairs and public policy, and his experience representing clients before the New York State Legislature and Governor’s office is invaluable to our offices and clients,” said Harold N. Iselin, managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s Albany office and co-chair of the firm’s Government Law & Policy Practice. “The recent addition of Sam NeJame and now Chris underscores our firm’s commitment of hiring talented professionals to meet the needs of our clients throughout the City and State.”

“Greenberg Traurig fosters collaboration throughout our offices enabling us to build teams around client needs,” said John L. Mascialino, chair of Greenberg Traurig’s New York City Government Law & Policy Practice. “We are thrilled to have a well-respected government relations professional like Chris who will make valuable contributions to New York’s Government Law & Policy Practice and work alongside attorneys in the Albany and New York City offices.”

“I am excited to join the Greenberg Traurig team and work alongside my former colleague Sam NeJame and so many other respected peers in the New York lobbying space,” said Del Giudice. “I know that Greenberg Traurig’s reputation and platform will allow me to better serve my clients in navigating the legislative and executive branches of New York government.”

Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Del Giudice was a government relations professional at Wilson Elser. His prior experience also includes working on central staff for three Speakers of the New York State Assembly and serving as legislative director for Assemblyman Joseph D. Morelle.

Greenberg Traurig’s Albany team was recently recognized as the only law firm on the Observer’s list of Albany’s Top 40 Power Players.
