Greenberg Traurig's Robert C. Epstein to Lead Workshop at Anchin Construction & Development Forum

NEW YORK — Feb. 3, 2016 Robert C. Epstein, National Construction Law Practice co-chair and shareholder at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will participate in this year’s Anchin Construction & Development Forum at the New York Academy of Sciences in New York City. Four-hundred architects, contractors, designers, and developers will come together to discuss and debate best practices and hear from prestigious New York City and New Jersey developers during the forum.

Specifically, Epstein will lead The Art of Managing Construction Risks Workshop at the forum Thursday, Feb. 11, at 11 a.m. ET. This workshop will identify four primary risk areas on construction projects and offer specific solutions on how owners can minimize risks to achieve a successful construction project. The workshop will address key risks including: cost overruns; defects, failures, and non-conformities; differing site conditions; and delays. In addition, the workshop will give concrete guidance on what attendees can do to address and prevent risks on construction projects.

With more than 38 years of experience, Epstein has represented numerous public and private owners, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, designers, sureties, and other parties involved in major construction projects. He has handled a wide array of complex construction litigations involving claims of construction defects, project delays, payment claims, and other disputes.
