Greenberg Traurig Receives Award at GRR Awards

NEW YORK – June 19, 2019 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP received the “Cross-Border Cooperation in a Specific Restructuring or Insolvency Matter” award at Global Restructuring Review’s 3rd Annual Awards Ceremony on June 15, in Barcelona, Spain. The firm received the award for its role in the restructuring of Oi S.A.

According to Global Restructuring Review, the awards celebrate the people, places, and matters that advanced the practice of cross-border restructuring and insolvency over the past year.

Greenberg Traurig was U.S. legal counsel to Pharol SGPS and Bratel BV in Oi S.A.’s multi-jurisdiction restructuring. The team included Mark D. Bloom and Ryan A. Wagner.
