Greenberg Traurig Shareholder Reggie Zachariah Receives South Florida Business Journal 40 Under 40 Award

MIAMI – July 2, 2019 – Reggie Zachariah, a shareholder in the Fort Lauderdale office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., was honored with a South Florida Business Journal 40 Under 40 Award. The award recognizes young professionals from Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties under the age of 40 who exhibit outstanding success in business and contributions to their communities.

Selected from hundreds of nominations, the honorees represent the region's most entrepreneurial and influential young leaders, according to the publication. They will be celebrated on Aug. 2 at a luncheon at Jungle Island in Miami.

“I am honored to be named to a list of young professionals who contribute to both their industries and our community,” Zachariah said. “Providing the highest standard of client service and giving back to the South Florida community are two priorities that I have always been passionate about. I look forward to continuing my efforts on both fronts.”

Zachariah, who is a member of Greenberg Traurig’s Corporate Practice, focuses his practice on private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructurings. He also counsels boards and senior management on strategic business, corporate formation and governance, financial, and transactional matters. Zachariah’s specific industry experience includes health care technology and services, education, insurance, manufacturing, franchises, retail, and infrastructure. Prior to attending law school, he was a financial analyst, focusing on mergers and acquisitions for a public company.

Active in numerous community service organizations, Zachariah is a founding member and current committee member of the American Heart Association’s BrowardPULSE and member of the Kids in Distress (KID) Elevate Event Committee. He has also been actively involved with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the Ghost Light Society’s Soiree Host Committee, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Beach Bash, for which he served twice as co-chair. He also served for several years on the Seventeenth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission.
