Richards, a member of the firm's Labor & Employment Practice, and Marjorie Clifton, Principal of Clifton Consulting LLC, will discuss the current state of the #MeToo movement and the role of the general counsel within companies and at the board level. The event will be moderated by Jeffrey Kaplan, Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of LyondellBasell, and held on August 28 at 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. CDT at Houstonian Hotel in Houston.
Richards regularly provides advice to employers on sexual and other harassment or discrimination complaints. His practice also includes counseling employers of all sizes in the design and implementation of employment policies, practices, and proactive audits. Richards routinely conducts respectful workplace training to employer audiences ranging from highest level officers and boards of directors to entry level rank and file, as well internal investigations, including in response to highly sensitive harassment complaints.
