FT. LAUDERDALE – May 5, 2021 Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A. Ft. Lauderdale office Corporate Shareholders Travis M. Walker and Mathew B. Hoffman led a multi-office team of attorneys to assist Better Collective, a global sports betting media group, in its $240 million acquisition of The Action Network, a premium sports content and product destination for U.S. sports bettors.

Better Collective develops digital platforms for betting tips, bookmaker information, and iGaming communities. The Action Network’s media platforms provide an enhanced experience for users through original sports news content, premium insights, deep menus of odds and proprietary betting tools and data. 

The acquisition is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed in Q2 2021.

“We are very pleased to have assisted Better Collective in signing its largest acquisition in the company’s history to date,” said Walker and Hoffman in a joint statement. “The transaction required our multidisciplinary and multi-office team’s deep knowledge of the complexities of the online gaming industry, which continues to evolve.”
