Greenberg Traurig’s Nancy Peterman to Speak at ABI Central States Bankruptcy Workshop

CHICAGO – June 15, 2021Nancy Peterman, a shareholder in global law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP’s Restructuring & Bankruptcy Practice, will speak at the Virtual American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) Central States Bankruptcy Workshop on June 17 at 1:15 p.m. CDT. Her panel is titled “Have We Got a Sale for You!” and will discuss how to address and negotiate appropriate bid procedures and run an effective sales process.

ABI is “the nation’s largest association of bankruptcy professionals, made up of over 12,000 members in multi-disciplinary roles, including attorneys, auctioneers, bankers, judges, lenders, professors, turnaround specialists, accountants and others.” According to ABI’s website, it is “committed to serving our members with high-quality conferences, comprehensive continuing education, effective legal research, and dynamic networking opportunities.”

Peterman is chair of the Chicago Restructuring & Bankruptcy Practice. She focuses her practice on complex corporate restructurings and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions involving special situations and distressed companies, whether implemented in court or out of court. Peterman has represented private equity funds, debtors, sellers, purchasers, investor groups, and creditors in these matters, and has experience in numerous industries, including manufacturing, real estate, retail, and gaming, with a particular focus on health care.
