La Fleur’s 2019 D.C. conference will be held May 13-16, 2019 at the Jack Morton Auditorium on the George Washington University campus. Attendees will stay at the Westin Georgetown Hotel. The theme of our DC conference is “Lottery SHOCK.” The DOJ’s reversal of its 2011 opinion on the Wire Act has led to great uncertainty for the $86 billion U.S. lottery industry. A panel of experts will debate probable outcomes. The expansion of sports betting will be examined in Delaware, DC, Maryland and West Virginia. The program will also examine courier delivery, sports betting, iLottery, cashless, in-lane and multi-jurisdictional instant and lotto programs.
