Gov. Rick Scott named Tallahassee heavyweight lobbyist Fred Karlinsky as one of the two appointments and one reappointment announced this week to the Supreme Court Judicial Nominating Commission.
Karlinsky, 47, of Weston, is currently one of the top insurance lawyers in the nation. He is a shareholder of Greenberg Traurig, where he co-chairs the firm’s Insurance Regulatory and Transactions Practice Group.
In addition to being a prominent Tallahassee lobbyist, Karlinsky is the state’s leading expert on insurance regulatory law, transactional law, executive and legislative governmental affairs, administrative law and corporate representation.
