Greenberg Traurig’s Barbara A. Jones Presents at Third Annual Marcum MicroCap Conference

BOSTON (May 30, 2014) —Barbara A. Jones, Corporate & Securities shareholder with the international law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP, served as a panelist at the Third Annual Marcum MicroCap Conference in New York City. She spoke on the topic “The Boom in Microcap Financing – IPOS, Follow-ons, PIPEs, RDs, & CMPOs” from 11:00 am - noon on May 29, 2014.

This one-day conference brought together world class industry leaders to address the topics of greatest concern to the management of publicly traded companies or companies that are intending to go public. According to its website, the Marcum MicroCap Conference is dedicated to introducing investors to the very best, undiscovered companies under $500 million in market capitalization. Jones maintains a diverse corporate and securities law practice across industry groups, emphasizing complex international and domestic transactions, including private and public financings, IPOs, secondary offerings, PIPEs, alternative exit strategies, dual listings, mergers and acquisitions and licensing transactions. Her work extends to complex regulatory reporting and compliance issues arising in connection with her transactional work and representation of publicly listed companies. She regularly serves as counsel to leading investment banks, financial institutions and private equity groups, as well as public and private companies in life sciences and biotechnology, information technology, energy (traditional and renewable), mining, defense and security, telecommunications, media, entertainment and sports.
