Greenberg Traurig’s Michael G. Cooke to Moderate Panel at the 51st Annual Florida Section Conference of the Air & Waste Management Association

TAMPA, Fla. Oct. 28, 2015Michael G. Cooke, an attorney in the Tampa Environmental Practice of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A. will participate in the 51st Annual Florida Section Conference of the Air & Waste Management Association. The conference will be held Oct. 28-29 in Tallahassee, Florida.

Cooke will moderate the Oct. 28 panel entitled “Carbon Dioxide Regulation Under EPA’s Clean Power Plan.” This session will focus on the legal and policy issues associated with the EPA’s final “Clean Power Plan,” which sets goals for the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions from electric utility plants.

“I am honored to be a part of this annual event,” Cooke said. “This panel will present national and Florida perspectives on the final rule, the pending litigation, and the prospects for implementation.”
