Greenberg Traurig’s Philip Sellinger Receives Morris County Chamber of Commerce Leader in Business Award

MORRISTOWN, N.J. – Nov. 2, 2015 – Philip Sellinger, co-managing shareholder of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s New Jersey office and co-chair of the firm’s Global Litigation Practice, has been selected to receive the Leader in Business Award from the Morris County Chamber of Commerce (MCCC).  He was honored at MCCC’s Economic Outlook luncheon Oct. 30 at The Park Savoy in Florham Park, New Jersey.

Sellinger is among four top leaders selected in the Morris County business community for the impact of their leadership on their company, clients, and community.

“It is an honor to receive this award from the Morris County Chamber of Commerce, an organization that is the engine of the business community,” said Sellinger. “I am proud that the work Greenberg Traurig does is impactful and serves in the best interest of the firm, our clients, and the Morris County community.”

Held each fall, the event provides the most comprehensive economic forecast for New Jersey. Featured keynote speaker Chris Benko, managing director of PwC, discussed local, national, and international economic trends.

Sellinger has more than 30 years of trial experience in a wide variety of class actions and complex cases around the country. He is the founding chair of the Class Action Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association and is on the board of directors for the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. Among his many accolades, Sellinger has received an honorary doctorate from Rabbinical College of America at the National Founders’ Dinner, the American Jewish Committee Learned Hand Award, the Arts Horizon Celeste Holm Humanitarian Award, and a Distinguished Legal Services Award from The Corporate Times. He has also been recognized as a leading lawyer by Chambers and Partners USA, Best Lawyers, and Super Lawyers.
