TAMPA, Fla. – Dec. 2, 2015 – Michael G. Cooke, an attorney in the Tampa Environmental Practice of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A. will participate in Power Magazine’s event on Navigating Legal Implications of Power Industry Regulations, which will be held Dec. 7 at the Mirage in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Cooke’s presentation, titled “The Nuts and Bolts of Preparing a Plan to Implement the Clean Power Plan,” will examine the steps and competing interests involved in implementing a state plan under section 111(d), and potential outcomes.
“I look forward to sharing my legal insight as well as learning from fellow presenters who are experts in their respective fields,” Cooke said.
At Greenberg Traurig, Cooke concentrates his practice in administrative law, including environmental, utility and land use law. He represents industrial, agricultural, banking, government, and developer clients on matters involving clean air, climate change, electric generating facilities, renewable energy, telecommunications, utility plant and transmission line siting, water and wastewater issues.
