Greenberg Traurig Shareholder Iris Escarra Named to 2015 Class of Influential Business Women

MIAMI May 27, 2015Iris Escarra, Shareholder and Co-Chair of the Miami Land Development & Zoning Practice at international law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., has been named one of the Influential Business Women for 2015 by the South Florida Business Journal.

Escarra and 25 fellow honorees were celebrated at the May 21 Influential Business Women Awards Luncheon in Davie, Florida.

“I am honored to be recognized among some of the area’s most inspiring professional women,” Escarra said. “I look forward to continuing my efforts to raise the stature of women and promote leadership opportunities for women in the business community. I hope my success as an attorney and working mother can serve as a role model for future generations.”

At Greenberg TraurigEscarra represents landowners and developers in every phase of property development and operations. Her work covers a wide-range of industry sectors including residential, hotel, retail, commercial and mixed-uses, and institutional uses such as affordable housing, educational facilities, medical buildings, places of worship and museums. She is a former Assistant City Attorney for the city of Miami.
