MIAMI – July 1, 2015 – Antonio Peña, a shareholder in the Latin American and Iberian Practice and the Corporate & Securities Practice in the Miami office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, participated as a speaker at the fourth annual Technical & Educational Trade Mission for Bolivian Exporters and Customs Officials, which was held this month in Miami.
Peña’s presentation focused on key issues related to the establishment and development of commercial activities in the United States, including investment strategy, risk management, corporate compliance, and operations management.
The Technical & Educational Trade Mission for Bolivian Exporters and Customs Officials is designed to provide practical advice to corporations and investors interested in conducting business in the United States. In addition, the seminar serves as a community resource for information about all ground, air, and ocean transportation, including advice on importing and exporting. The event was organized by the Bolivian-American Chamber of Commerce (BACC) and hosted at the Miami office of Greenberg Traurig.
Peña represents companies and investors in connection with their strategic and financial investments in the United States, Spain, and Latin America. Peña is a member of the team that received the “2014 Corporate/M&A Law Firm of the Year – International Counsel in Latin America” award at the sixth-annual Chambers and Partners Latin America Awards for Excellence ceremony.
