CHICAGO – Oct. 19, 2016 – Julia J. Singh has joined the Chicago office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP as of counsel in the Corporate & Securities Practice. Prior to joining the firm, she was a partner at Chapman and Cutler, LLP.
Singh will continue to focus her practice on corporate finance transactions, with an emphasis on domestic and cross-border private placements of debt securities, both secured and unsecured. She represents insurance companies, pension funds, and other institutional investors in such transactions. Singh also has significant experience serving as bond counsel for several housing finance agencies in connection with single family and multifamily housing bond financings, underwriter’s counsel to a number of investment banking firms in connection with the offering and sale of municipal securities, and as counsel to banks providing credit enhancement or liquidity support for various financings.

Singh earned her J.D., cum laude, from University of Minnesota Law School, and her B.B.A., summa cum laude, from Baruch College, The City University of New York.
