A longtime civil servant for the state of Florida, who most recently served as the appointed secretary of the state’s Agency for Healthcare Administration, has joined Greenberg Traurig LLP as the director of healthcare affairs, the firm announced Thursday.
Liz Dudek, who served as Florida’s AHCA secretary from 2011 until her retirement last month, steps into the private sector as a member of Greenberg Traurig’s national health & FDA business practice and its government law and policy practice, the firm said. Dudek, who is not admitted to the practice of law, will be based out of Greenberg Traurig’s office in Tallahassee.
Fred Baggett, the managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s office in Tallahassee, said in a statement Thursday that he is thrilled to add a “well-respected health care professional” to his team.
