Greenberg Traurig Elevates 2 Philadelphia Attorneys to Shareholder

PHILADELPHIA – Feb. 11, 2016 – International law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP elevated Joshua D. Cohen and Jelena Vojinovic in its Philadelphia office to shareholder. Firmwide, Greenberg Traurig elevated 30 attorneys to shareholder and 14 to of counsel status.

Cohen, a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice, represents developers, institutional investors and lenders in complex joint ventures, acquisitions, developments, financings, leasing and dispositions of multi-family, industrial, office and retail developments. Cohen has had a special focus in affordable housing development and environmentally contaminated real estate and is also experienced in sophisticated real estate financing workouts, bond financings, and commercial and industrial leasing.

Vojinovic, a member of the firm’s Public Finance Practice, focuses her practice on public and private financing transactions, and has acted as bond counsel, underwriters' counsel, and purchaser and credit enhancement counsel in transactions throughout the United States. She is experienced in the area of tax-exempt bond financing for multifamily housing projects, universities, 501(c)(3), public utilities and municipalities. Vojinovic also has experience in real estate based lending, securitization and derivative transactions.
