GT Germany advises Velero Partners on the structure of their cooperation with Asterion Wohnen

Berlin, March 17, 2016 - Greenberg Traurig Germany (GT Germany) provided advisory services to the shareholders of Velero Partners GmbH regarding their investment in the newly founded real estate company Asterion Wohnen. Velero Partners furthermore takes over the asset management of the newly founded company. GT Germany provided advisory services in this respect as well.

Asterion Wohnen is currently building a residential property portfolio in Germany. For this purpose, the company has raised a first tranche of EUR 50 million in equity from institutional investors. The investments are planned to focus primarily on small to medium-sized residential property portfolios of around 100 units or more located in cities and communities with more than 10,000 inhabitants.

In its capacity as exclusive asset and transaction manager, Velero Partners will identify the properties, conduct the acquisition negotiations, and control the due diligence process and the asset management of the portfolios.

GT Germany assisted Velero Partners and its shareholders in all matters of company and real estate law relating to the cooperation with Asterion Wohnen.

Background:
Velero Partners was founded by former managers of Westgrund AG and a privatization specialist in 2015. GT Germany has been assisting the company since its incorporation.
