Greenberg Traurig Continues Expansion of M&A Practice with Addition of Dmitriy A. Tartakovskiy

NEW YORK – April 21, 2016 –  Dmitriy A. Tartakovskiy has joined global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP in New York City as a shareholder in its Global Corporate M&A Practice. Before joining the firm, Tartakovskiy was counsel at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP.

Tartakovskiy focuses his practice on corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. He represents public and private corporate clients, private equity firms, and investment banks in complex domestic and cross-border transactions in a wide range of industries. His practice includes public and private mergers, stock and asset purchases, divestitures, spin-offs, joint ventures, minority investments, equity financings, and restructurings. He also advises clients on corporate governance, securities, and general corporate law matters.

Tartakovskiy earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School. He also received a law degree from Moscow Academy of Law and speaks Russian fluently.

Tartakovskiy joins Greenberg Traurig in New York on the heels of  several high profile hires including Marc L. Mukasey, and Robert S. Frenchman, in Cybersecurity and Litigation, and Laurence A. Levy in Government Law and Policy. Louis M. Solomon, Hal S. Shaftel, Colin Underwood, and Michael S. Lazaroff, as well as former Associate Judge of the New York State Court of Appeals Susan Phillips Read, recently joined the firm’s Global Litigation Practice in New York.
