Greenberg Traurig Leader Named to Phoenix Business Journal’s ‘40 Under 40’ 2016 Class

PHOENIX – Aug. 10, 2016  –   Nicole Maroulakos Goodwin, administrative shareholder and chair of the litigation practice in the Phoenix office of the international law firm  Greenberg Traurig, LLP, has been named to the Phoenix Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” class of 2016.

Besides her impressive professional accomplishments, Goodwin was recognized for her community and nonprofit work in the Valley. Among other endeavors, Goodwin volunteers her time as an adjunct professor at Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, volunteers as a judge pro tempore with the Maricopa County Superior Court, and serves as vice chair of the Southwest Autism Resource & Research Center (SARRC) board of directors.

Each year, the Phoenix Business Journal honors 40 individuals under the age of 40 who are having a major impact in the Valley's business community through their careers, as well as impacting the greater community.

According to the publication, “The honorees come from a range of industries. They are innovators and instigators of change. They are entrepreneurs and corporate leaders. They have founded nonprofits and undertaken endeavors for the greater good that will help the community for years to come. One of the notable traits of this class, as those before it, is the honorees' community involvement that stands out. Their work goes beyond the 9-to-5 world and affects many.”

More than 400 nominations were submitted for consideration of this year’s 40 Under 40 class. As in the past, the Business Journal will produce a special 40 Under 40 publication that profiles the individuals honored. The program culminates with a special editorial section in the Oct. 7 issue of the Business Journal and an awards event on Oct. 10.
