FORT LAUDERDALE – Oct. 3, 2018 – Zachary O. Bazara, a Real Estate attorney in the Fort Lauderdale office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., has been appointed to the Board of Trustees for the Fort Lauderdale Historical Society.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to take an active leadership role in helping conserve this community’s history for the education, inspiration, and betterment of future generations” said Bazara.
The Fort Lauderdale Historical Society (FLHS) collects, preserves and shares material from the community’s past to enable understanding of the human experience for current and future generations. FLHS supports education through school and general activities, teacher resources, and research. It maintains a 1907 house museum, three other 1905 historic structures, and a museum of changing and permanent exhibitions. FLHS also operates a research center that has functioned uninterrupted for fifty-one years.
Zachary O. Bazara represents buyers and sellers, lenders and borrowers, developers and builders, landlords and tenants in connection with all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, commercial leasing, title insurance, and complex commercial financing. He handles matters relating to every phase of the acquisition, disposition and financing of commercial real estate, including title and survey review and preparation and negotiation of related transactional and financing documents.
Bazara is experienced in negotiating triple net and industrial gross leases for office, retail, and industrial space, as well as related documents, such as brokerage agreements, leasing and property management agreements, assignment and assumption agreements, subordination agreements and security agreements.
Bazara has a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and a B.A., cum laude, from the University of Florida. He is licensed to practice in Florida.
