Greenberg Traurig Adds Three Litigators to its Expanding Sacramento Office

SACRAMENTO — Feb. 4, 2018 — Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP continued to expand its Sacramento office with the addition of Todd A. Pickles as of counsel in the White Collar Defense & Special Investigations Practice, as well as David A. Cheit as of counsel and Deepi K. Miller as associate in the Litigation Practice.

Prior to joining the firm, Pickles was assistant U.S. attorney in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of California. He represents clients in white collar matters and investigations, as well as in business litigation, tort, employment, constitutional, and environmental claims. His experience includes investigations and prosecutions related to securities fraud, investment fraud, bank fraud, health care fraud, and identity fraud. As part of his work in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of California, he served as the civil rights and hate crimes coordinator for the Eastern District of California. He earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of San Francisco School of Law, and a B.A., cum laude, from Georgetown University.

Cheit joins the firm from DLA Piper. He handles civil litigation matters in a variety of areas including business disputes, insurance coverage, health care, real estate, and employment. He earned his J.D. from University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law, and his B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley.

Miller joins Greenberg Traurig from Winston & Strawn, LLP. She focuses her practice on complex business matters, representing clients in all phases of commercial litigation in federal, state, and bankruptcy courts. She earned her J.D. from University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and a B.A. from University of California, San Diego.

Most recently, the Sacramento office expanded with the addition of Alicia R. Intriago as a member of its Litigation Practice and Shiran Zohar as a member of its Litigation, Proposition 65 & Green Chemistry, and Government Law & Policy Practices.
