Greenberg Traurig’s Danielle Gonzalez Receives Public School Alumni Achievement Award From The Education Fund

MIAMI – June 7, 2019 – Danielle Gonzalez, a Real Estate shareholder in the Miami office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., was nominated by The Education Fund (EdFund) to receive the Sapoznik Insurance Public School Alumni Achievement Award. She was honored at the fund’s annual For the Love of Art Charity Auction on June 6 at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel. Award honorees are celebrated for making an impact on the economic vitality of Miami-Dade County and demonstrating the success of a public school education.

The Education Fund is an independent nonprofit organization with national recognition dedicated to engaging corporate and community support and resources to improve Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Since 1985, the fund has raised more than $52 million in resources and services that today reach all of Miami-Dade’s 22,000+ teachers and 345,000+ students in all 400+ public schools.

“As a graduate of the public school system, I am grateful for the education I received and humbled to be recognized by The Education Fund,” Gonzalez said. “The award is particularly meaningful as it highlights what public school educated people can achieve and the need to provide support to this vital scholastic system.”
